Mr Koh Choon Kong Previously from Price Waterhouse, Citibank Global Asset Management, ICH Capital before venturing out with KRN Warren Advisors, a financial consulting firm, Choon Kong has more than 10 years of financial experience. He is keen to promote good financial management and control in organisations in Singapore and the region. He decided that SAL has to be student-focused to ensure that students’ learning potential are maximized for their own benefit and their organizations.
A finance professional, consultant and corporate trainer, he is both a Certified Public Accountant (and member of ICPAS), and a CFA charterholder. He takes an active role in the investment community as a member of the Professional Development Committee and Advocacy Committee of the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts (SSFA), the local society of the prestigious US-based global investment association, the CFA Institute. Choon Kong takes special interest in investment issues and financial education.
CK is available for directorships in companies who recognise the role and value of independent directors and who demand that independent directors add value to the proper functioning of the Board. He volunteers in his community in Sengkang as Asst Hon. Treasurer in the Management Council. He is married to Qing with 2 lovely kids, Lynette and Warren.

Mr Elvis Chung Formerly with Barclays Bank and Merrill Lynch Investment Bank, Elvis has successfully merged his passion for strategic issues and defence, and his career as a banker in an investment bank. He served in Barclays Capital Japan Ltd and Barclays Bank PLC in the capital markets products, and covered the Asia Pacific region including Japan, where he supervised a team of professionals in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
A product specialist, he has covered forex, money market, portfolio business, fixed income (government/corporate) and derivatives (options, futures, swaps) in his career with Merrill Lynch and Barclays where he spent 2 years in Tokyo. In Price Waterhouse, he was in the financial institution group. Elvis is both a CPA and a CFA charterholder.
He has completed his Master of Science (Strategic Studies) with the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (IDSS), Nanyang Technological University, and has written a paper on the World War II and the Pearl Harbour. He has also had a few papers published in the SAF journal Pointers. |
